[SLE] msttcorefonts - How to install?

Hello everyone,

I've recently moved to SUSE Linux 10.1 after using Fedora/CentOS for
quite some time. I am able to install the msttcorefonts on my previous
distro pretty easily but somehow I've had no luck getting it to
install on my SUSE.

I tried doing an rpm -Uvh on the msttcorefonts RPM but it complains of
dependency failure on the chkfontpath. Would anyone know what package
chkfontpath is from?

Better yet, is there any way to automatically download msttcorefonts
from a repository somewhere (I'm using Smart PM by the way)? or maybe
there is already an msttcorefonts package that's built particularly
for SUSE which I can just download?

Any help would be appreciated.

Matt

click on the suse watcher in your system tray (if it's not there go to
start->System->Desktop Applet->Suse Watcher)
- click on 'start online update
- enetr the root pw when prompted
- choose a mirroe in the installation source pulldown and click next
- You should see an optional package/patch labeled "Download Microsoft
True Type Fonts". Check the box by it and then click accept
Thanks for all the replies. I'm on 10.1 which IIRC uses a somewhat
different update mechanism than previous SUSE versions.

However, I have gotten it to install already by adding the --nodeps
option to the rpm command. Got a few warnings. But I hope it's nothing
too fatal.
